Anyway. The desktop meme.
( 1 ) Why you chose the background color/image you did:
It's just a quick WP I tossed together with Cubs Spring Training pics I saw around. For a while it was just that one in the middle with Mark Prior and the shorts and the.. bending.. over.. and ... pardon me for a second... Okay, I'm done. But I thought it was kinda small and sparse looking all centered in the middle by itself, so I cobbled a bigger one together and yay. My new background. I always use 1024x768 WPs on my 1280x1024 desktop so that I have a border for the icons without covering up any cool WP stuff. ;)
( 2 ) Why your toolbar is where it is:
Cuz.. that's where it came, and I got used to it that way, and it'd be WEIRD anywhere else now!
( 3 ) Why the choices on your toolbar are present:
I don't actually USE quicklaunch buttons OFTEN, cuz I got some shortcut buttons on my keyboard to the stuff I use MOST often, but hey. For stuff I do use, it's there. Yay.
( 4 ) What the desktop icons are:
Stuff and whatnot. I REALLY don't use desktop icons very much, but I do SOMETIMES. Folders, more commonly used programs, a few games.. *cough*SnoodandNetHack*cough*... Some quick reference docs that I can get to to alter quick if I need 'em. Blah blah blah yakkety shmackety.
