Okay! One bandwagon I'm gonna be hopping on..
Been thinking about this one for a while, and finally decided to go for it.
"Stuff" for voting to keep BMU on the TRL countdown so it can get retired. Cuz JC deserves it.
Well.. I can make WPs. In fact, I'm pretty good at making WPs.
Therefore! Anyone who would like a pretty wallpaper, and is, acourse, willing to vote for JC... Go ahead and ask away.
It'd be nice if you had an idea of a picture/pictures you want on the thing, or if you don't, just tell me what guy(s) you want, and I'll see what I can do. I'll even do non-nsync WPs, but I will need you to find the pictures for those. Any further details on stuff like colors, words, whatever, just lemme know.
Oh, I'll also need to know your screen res, so I know to do it 800x600, 1024x768.. y'know, whatever. :)

Call 1-800-342-5688 starting at 12:30 Pacific, 1:30 Mountain, 2:30 Central, 3:30 Eastern.
Press 2 to vote by song title.
Press 2-5-6 for B-L-O. (Or press 1 to vote by artist, then 5-2-2 for J-C-C.)
Wait for the confirmation, then do it again as many times as you can (until you get the Quddus message cutting you off)!

It is unclear how many votes per person MTV will count each day. The safest (though tedious) course of action, therefore, is to delete your cookies after each vote, and put in a different name/birthdate for each vote. Here are two methods of deleting cookies on PCs (if I have any of the steps wrong, please correct me!):
Close all browser windows.
Open "My Computer."
Open your C drive.
Open "WINDOWS."
Open "Temporary Internet Files."
Delete all cookie files containing "mtv" or "trl," such as Cookie:???@mtv.com.
or
Close all browser windows.
Open "My Computer."
Open "Control Panel."
Open "Internet Options."
Click "Delete Cookies," then "OK."
Note: This option is faster than searching for specific cookies, but it will log you out of all sites that use cookies to remember you!

You can delete cookies from Internet Explorer in Mac OS X by choosing Preferences from the Explorer menu, then scrolling down through the preferences to "cookies". In the window with the cookies listed, either click the MTV cookies and hit the delete button or hit apple/option-A to select all and hit the delete button. Hit ok to close preferences, close the program; reopen the program, vote.
Again, this is a lot more time-consuming than just voting over and over again without leaving the MTV site, but it should increase the chances that all your votes will be counted.
