Interview!

Well. Hopping on a bandwagon near the ground floor. That's rare... Anyhoo.. explanation.. thirdhand, but still word-for-word..

"[livejournal.com profile] musiclver20 said: If you want me to interview you--post a comment that simply says, "Interview me." I'll respond with questions for you to take back to your own journal and answer as a post. Of course, they'll be different for each person since this is an interview and not a general survey. At the bottom of your post, after answering the Interviewer's questions, you ask if anyone wants to be interviewed. So it becomes your turn-- in the comments, you ask them any questions you have for them to take back to their journals and answer. And so it becomes the circle."

So! Questions courtesy [livejournal.com profile] powrhug...

1. What makes Choey so special to you?
Gee. What makes any pairing special? I dunno. Choey isn't even really my OTP, as such, but.. Yeah. I have a special fondness for it. I don't think it's (just) the fact that Chris and Joey are ranked 1 and, I dunno, currently something like 1.125 (respectively) in my Nsync rankings. I mean, when I first started into popslash, slashing Chris didn't even really... well, not so much occur to me as occur to me as something I could really get INTO.. But... I dunno. As with most stuff involving popslash, I blame [livejournal.com profile] mmmmmriley. Which I'm sure she'd be happy about. She got me started on the love of slashing Joey, and.. Well, before long, my love of Chris kinda merged into that, and.. There's just something about Choey. Something cute and cuddly and special.. Plus, it's the most easily squealed pairing name. Can't beat that.

2. Why "dizmo" as an LJ name?
That one's a relatively easy one. It's an old nickname. Hanging out in a pseudo-chat venue a few years back.. (well before the thought of liking a boyband POST-NKOTB occurred to me), a group of us for some reason inexplicably decided to give ourselves matching nicknames. (Well, I wasn't one of the ORIGINAL few who decided to do it, but I was added VERY shortly thereafter, so it's close enough.) Basically, it was the first letter of the first name, followed by izmo. So there was Rizmo ([livejournal.com profile] beaux), Sizmo, Lizmo, etc... Well.. Being that my first name is Erin, Eizmo didn't work too well. We defaulted to last name, I became Dizmo, and when I decided to make a secondary journal, I went with it. I've since.. Well, pretty much abandoned journal numero uno. Go figure.

3. What's one regret you've had in life?
Just one? Well, I guess I'll go with the biggest one. I regret not applying myself anywhere near the level I should have when I first got to college. I'd be easily out by now and off in the 'real world'. Instead, I'm scrabbling to play catch up, and reading about my HS classmates going onto varied successes in the alumni newsletter. It kinda stings.

4. Are you a cat or dog person? Neither?
Somehow, I doubt that 'both' is quite the proper answer, although I love pretty much ALL animals. Out of the two, I'd probably lean more towards cat-person-ness. Not that I don't love dogs to death, but.. I dunno. I like the dignity cats hold themselves with. And unlike the dignity, I can actually IDENTIFY with their desire for solitude at times.

5. Name one tv show past or present you couldn't live without.
I'd have to probably say The X-Files. Not out of any inherent quality of the show itself, although I did love it to death, but XF is ultimately what brought me to come in contact with my best friend. And, therefore, eventually, to Nsync, which although not QUITE as cool as my best friend- hey! nsync! So, basically, if it weren't for XF.. I'd have no idea WHERE I'd be now. But I don't think I'd be enjoying it as much.

Okay. There's my five questions! Did I do okay!

Well, if you want me to give YOU five questions.. .Just ask! That's the point of the meme, innit? ;)

*laugh* well I'm just glad you liked them. And really, I love asking questions and finding out more about people.

I'd ask you to interview me, but you already know the answers to everything. Feel free to try, though.
