My mother brings up a good point.

With no pre-nup.....

Let's hope they're VERY good friends.

I know about as much about marriage law as I do about the boiling point of crude oil, but... if a marriage is annulled, does it matter if there's a prenup or not?

Lawyers among us? Help?

I can tell you about the boiling point of crude oil if you want? It boils at around 600°C. It is made up from a mixture of hydrocarbons of various chain lengths. It is seperated via a process called fractional distallation which boils the oil and condenses the different fractions to seperate them. So petrol condenses at 70°C, Bitumen at around 600°C.

About marriage annullment though, I'm stumped too.

lol - Did I mention I teach Chemistry?

I'm not some sad person who learns about crude oil for fun.

Actually - I am! :D

My knowledge of anullments is admittedly far behind the times (I know the laws for 1941, oddly enough), but at least back then, you couldn't get an annulment if you consumated the marriage. You had to get a divorce then. And people.com, at least, is mentioning a honeymoon back at the hotel. <.g> Last I heard, though, it still needed mental incompetancy, forced consent, or underage. Does drunk count? <.g>

Guess that's what she used, man, because it's all signed and the groom is back home, alone, in Kentwood. The powers of celebrity. <.g>

lj is being shitty to me, but i need to type this. in my vague recollection, you are able to get an annullment nowadays anytime within the first twelve months, and that's whether you've had sex or not.

only reason i know is i thought about it a lot the first few months i was married. *smirk*

so, that should be right. we're such mad people.
