....Y'know.. I really overall don't care about the incredible drama that can come with the politics of friending, defriending, whatever. Being as I think it's kinda silly that validation would stem from who has or doesn't have you on their friends list.

That being said...

It always kinda makes me squee when someone cleans up their friends list and I survive the purge.

Hypocritical maybe, but... Hey, I'm entitled to my oddness.

I've been cut and it sucks, even though I don't know the person! However, I've also survived cuts and it feels great.

What I don't understand is why people get mad at you if you don't friend them back. There are people who friend me and I don't know them from Adam, but they get upset and after a while of me not friending them back, they cut me. I'm like, um, okay, whatever, bye! But dude, the drama and politics of friending and defriending makes my head hurt. LOL

Yes. Head hurting. Agreement. It's like... I friend people cuz I wanna read their journals. I honestly could care less if they friend me back. If they do, sweet! If they don't, fine. People have to realize that friending or not friending has no bearing on their worth as a human being.

I just hate it when someone drops me from their friends list for no reason. It makes me feel inadequate. I mean don't friend me, that's fine, if I wanna read you I'll friend you. Don't automatically friend me back then drop me like 2 weeks later. That's just.... weird.

As luck would have it, I just might have been. ;) Although yours wasn't the first I've HAD the experience over. It was just what made me think of it. ;)

And people are weird with the whole friends list thing. If you're gonna drop someone in two weeks, why friend 'em in the first place?

Although, I'm one to talk, given that if someone friends me, I just normally give their journal a cursory once-over and friend 'em back, but people don't normally really bug me, and I can deal with a good-sized friends list without going insane.
