Well, here goes nothing.

The hundred things about me meme that's going around...... I decided to give it a whirl.

1. I tend to be a bandwagon ho. :b
2. The last movie I saw in the theater was Bruce Almighty. While I was out in Vegas on our yearly vacation.
3. The last movie I saw in the theater here was.. The Two Towers.
4. I don't go to the movies all that often.
5. My first real celebrity crush was Davy Jones. All hail Monkees reruns on NIckelodeon.
6. We're about to move to Vegas. We're leaving in 5 days.
7. I'm alternated between being excited about the move and being.. really freaked out.
8. I suppose that that's normal.
9. I am the owner of more nsync swag than I probably have the right to.
10. My younger brother is currently downstairs playing the Super Mario Bros. theme song on our piano.
11. The percentage of the nsync swag I have that I bought is, like.... virtually nil.
12. My mother scoured ebay for MONTHS and ended up getting me, like, a buttload of nsync swag for my last birthday. I had no clue.
13. Unfortunately, all of my nsync swag is currently packed. It makes my room look... really vacant.
14. The fact that my room currently contains... a bed... is probably also contributing to the vacant look.
15. My left eye is permanently bloodshot. It's always been that way. My parents got calls from teachers, like, yearly, at the beginning of the year asking if I had pinkeye.
16. I DID get pinkeye once. I think it was in my other eye, though. So BOTH of my eyes were red.
17. I got walking pneumonia in 4th grade. I was out of school for, like, a week.
18. Ironically enough, my bloodshot eye sees a HELL of a lot better than my other eye.
19. I'm a rabid Cubs fan. Always have been. Always will be.
20. I was at the game in Wrigley when Lance and Joey were filming OtL there. I didn't really CARE about the boys at the time, other than the knowledge that I knew some of my friends would me jealous. I kinda inched closer (cuz they were in the section next to me), but I dunno if I really saw them, because I couldn't really IDENTIFY them at that point. I, of course, became a puppy fan a few months later and have been kicking myself for that since.
21. I have never seen an nsync concert.
22. I was in Vegas the week of the PO concert/CFTC. I was SLIGHTLY a fan at that point, but didn't go to either because I didn't wanna brave the squealing teenies.
23. I've been kicking myself REPEATEDLY since then. Because I regretted it almost immediately.
24. I very nearly missed winning a limo ride to Chicago and tickets to the Celebrity concert there. That kinda bugs me too.
25. I'm convinced that one day all the nsync karma I've been building up will come through for me in SPADES.
26. I'm a mutt. My mom was born in Puerto Rico, and she's quite hispanic, but she's got some French back there, too. My dad is mostly Lithuanian, but also has large chunks of Irish and Austrian. And there's little bits of other stuff in there, too.
27. The only Dilbaitis-es in the country are my immediate family.
28. I have a quite sizable family. 3 older half-brothers, an older half-sister, and a younger brother. All but one of my older sibs (one of the brothers) is married. They all have kids. I have four nieces and two nephews.
29. I became an aunt for the first time almost 2 months before I turned nine.
30. I've never had a boyfriend. Sometimes this bums me out. Most of the time I don't sweat it.
31. There's a tendency I have that I wish I didn't. Whenever I make a misstep with something, I tend to start avoiding it. Sometimes permanently. I do this way the fuck too often, and I always feel really bad about it, but normally feel like it's too late to go back to it.
32. I didn't watch American Idol last year at all. This year... I became obsessed with it. I suppose Clay can do that to one. ;)
33. I turn 23 in October. I have yet to finish college. In large part due to Thing About Me Number 31. This really bugs me sometimes.
34. On my 21st birthday, my foray into the World Of Alcohol consisted of... half of a rum and coke. I'm... really not a big drinker. I think I can count the drinks I've had since then on one hand. And the drinks I've LIKED on one finger. A homemade strawberry daiquiri courtesy of my mother.
35. I absolutely adore my mom's spanish rice.
36. The blame for me getting into slash can be entirely attributed to [livejournal.com profile] mmmmmriley
37. I kinda wish she'd waited to convert me until I'd finished my hetfic which I now have had half-finished and half-posted since, like.. October.
38. I have half a million things I need to write.
39. One thing I'm looking forward to about moving to Vegas is the fact that we're gonna have unlimited long distance from our home phone line.
40. I am pretty much the official At Home Tech Support for all the comps we have in the house. Sometimes, this REALLY the fuck bugs me.
41. I'm really good at listening to my friends' problems, and helping them through them. I enjoy doing it. However, I also tend to be in denial that I have any of my own. I know this frustrates my friends, but there's nothing that I can really do about it.
42. Actually, I'm not as sure it's denial as the fact that I ignore them to the point that I really don't think I HAVE them half the time.
43. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time about ten years and try all over again.
44. I'm beginning to doubt the fact that I'll be ABLE to come up with a hundred things about me.
45. My favorite animal is the squirrel.
46. My dad keeps bugging me about something going wrong with the comp he's on that I can't fix. Right now, I REALLY want to get in my car and just drive somewhere. Unfortunately, we sold my car last week. It had no AC and we're moving to the desert. We're gonna be getting another one out there, but.... Dammit.
47. My favorite color's been purple since I was about.. four. One day I was sitting on the edge of my bed and decided I needed a favorite color. So I was like. "My favorite color will be... Purple!" And then I flopped back onto my bed. It's been my favorite color ever since.
48. I didn't really learn to ride a bike until I was in seventh grade.
49. I really don't like disappointing people. It makes me try to hide my faults. Which is unfortunate, because that really doesn't help me IMPROVE them.
50. I'm halfway through this thing? Wow.
51. I refuse to sell Justin Timberlake on IMX despite the fact that he hasn't really done much except LOSE ME MONEY since the day I bought him. And he's not even my favorite nsync boy!
52. I have a bizarre ranking system for my nsync 'favorite' ranking. Chris is number one. Joey and JC, I think, are presently tied at 1.125 or so. Justin's at 1.5. And Lance is 1.5001, or thereabouts. I don't have a second place. But Chris is a lot more secure in first than he looks. He's my Fine Kirkpatrick Asymptote.
53. I cry over frivolous stuff, but not too often when it's really important.
54. Pepsi is my soft drink of choice over Coke. I prefer sodas at room temperature, too. No ice for me!
55. There are times that I worry that I'm really annoying and people are just humoring me when I talk to them.
56. I don't really have an OTP. Except, maybe... Well Written Stories. But I don't think that counts.
57. I can't wait until Rainee and I finish up our domain. Of course.. We kinda have to WORK on it some more for that to happen. :b
58. I was in the flag squad my last two years in HS. And my first two in college. Man, that was some fun ish.
59. The TV appearance that finally fully converted my to nsync? Making the Video: Pop. That's ALSO what convinced me finally that Rainee was telling the truth and Chris WAS worthy of my hearting. n.n
60. I'm a big fan of the Wheel of Time series of novels by Robert Jordan.
61. I wish I had the Babylon 5 series DVDs. Well, the first two, cuz they're all that's out. But, alas, I have no MONEY.
62. I played basketball in sixth and seventh grades. Never won a game. In fact, in sixth grade, our grade had enough girls for two squads. We played each other the first game. We lost 3-5. (Yes. Basketball.) That was the only game the OTHER squad won all season. Granted, that year we only had five minute quarters, but.. running around for 20 minutes scoring 8 points TOTAL? Pretty damn sad.
63. I was in my junior and senior year musicals. Damn, that was fun. And junior year, the director told me after rehearsal one day that, and I quote, "You have the best face on stage." Yeah, I was jazzed about that. Acting's fun.
64. I've read the unabridged version of Les Miserables multiple times. And I have such a crush on Inspector Javert. :b
65. One day I will get a kitty. I will name that kitty Twisly. It sounds like a good cat name.
66. I think I have a thing for guys with cute ears. I mean.. Chris.. Clay.. I MUST have an Ear Thing.
67. One day, I think it would be WONDERFUL to be able to sing the seventh inning stretch at Wrigley Field.
68. I want to dye my hair bright purple on my sixtieth birthday. I figure by then I won't care.
69. Somtimes I worry that I'm too nice, and I enter 'pushover' territory.
70. I saw Batman Forever 19 times in the theater. That was an interesting summer. I could recite that movie beginning to end.
71. Batman and Robin, on the other hand.. is the ONLY movie I have ever really considered walking out of the theater on.
72. Speaking of Batman, I loved the 60s series. That was just awesome.
73. Waaaaaay back before Survivor, like... in '93 or '94 or so, when Jeff Probst hosted BackChat (A viewer response program) on FX (well, it was called fX, then..) he read one of my letters once, and said, and I quote.. "How did you get so SMART, Erin, that's what I wanna know." It was a comment on a chemistry error in said 60s Batman series. Another time, I won the 6 cent fX pencil for Letter of the Week. Unfortunately, I didn't SEE the episode where I won it. That was a bit irksome. Jeff also was remarkably good at pronouncing my last name. Although he had to try a few times, usually.
74. I love Trading Spaces. That's such a cool show.
75. My younger brother and I would always cry when the OTHER one got in serious trouble. We get on each others nerves a lot, but, really.. we're damn close.
76. Oh, I forgot to mention... my younger brother's name is Justin. Sometimes this causes confusion when I'm conversing with people. And I have inadvertantly on occasion mentally called him 'Timberlake'. Oops.
77. I took piano lessons from a nun for five years. From when I was 4 to when I was nine. The last lesson ended with her yelling at me for something or another and when we left I was crying. Never went back.
78. Justin (my brother) was a gymnast for, like, 6 years or so. He won some national championships. I was also a gymnast for... a month. The fact that I'm afraid of heights kinda.. put a crimp in that plan.
79. I'm rather addicted to Snake on my cell phone.
80. I prefer silver jewelry to gold.
81. My favorite part of my body is my calves.
82. I am of the opinion that my smile makes me grossly resemble a rodent.
83. I absolutely love singing along with the radio.
84. I've been to Las Vegas almost yearly since I was in the fifth grade. By the time I was 15 or so, I was pretty much jaded to the town. :b Which may well be why I haven't gambled there much even the two times I've been there when I WAS old enough.
85. I've had a large handmade stuffed frog since I was nine or so. Her name's Flippy. My brother has one that matches. His name's Tommy. My parents got 'em at an auction.
86. We had a bunny for like, four days. My parents decided that they didn't like the fact that he pooped all over the place. So we took 'em back and traded for a couple of hamsters. His name was Smoky.
87. We had a dog from about the time my brother was born. He was a peke-a-poo named Pooky. He died when I was in high school. It was really sad.
88. I have been known to slam pixi stix 10 at a time. I credit The Reel Nsync with giving me the idea. Except that whole 'six at a time' thing was too wimpy. ;)
89. I have a tape of Chris at the Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game last year. There's these girls in the crowd constantly yelling at him to TURN AROUND when he's on deck. When I first heard that, I was like... "You IDIOTS. Don't say that! You're getting a view of the FKA! In BASEBALL PANTS. Don't tell him to TURN AROUND, tell him to BEND OVER!" That probably says something about me. :b
90. I didn't know there WAS this much interesting stuff about me.
91. Sometimes I wish I could go back and be in kindergarten again, just for, like, a week.
92. My hair is annoyingly straight, fine, and flat. There's really nothing you can DO with it.
93. I've looked at baby pictures of myself... And I look EXACTLY the same now. I'm just taller and have glasses.
94. My hair was waist-length until third grade. When I got it cut, everyone was like.. WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR?
95. I was on the academic team in high school. And, not to toot my own horn, I kicked ass. They were a person short for the varsity conference tournament, my sophomore year. So the coach asked if I could go. I did. Competing against juniors and seniors, I scored the fourth most individual toss-ups out of everyone there. In the JV tournament, I was first. n.n. Annoyingly enough, senior year, when I tried for president of the organization.... I didn't get voted in.
96. Speaking of which, I never got elected to ANY school position. Although I ran constantly. I suppose it says good things that I kept trying.
97. The Cubs annoy me. A lot. But I still remain a fan. I dunno if I'm loyal or just masochistic. Actually.. I think Cub fandom is a genetic disorder. Got passed from my grandfather to my father to my siblings and to me. Yay.
98. My favorite number is 12. And yet I save this revelation for number 98. Go figure.
99. I can get on my knees and bend backwards until my head's touching the floor. So, yeah, I guess I'm a bit flexible in some ways. Although hardly in others.
100. I'm not a big fan of chocolate ice cream. Or chocolate cake. But I love most chocolate candy. Unless it's dark chocolate.

Man. I DID manage to come up with some stuff. I'm amazed. :)
