I woke up a bit prematurely today. WHEN MY PILLOWCASE OR SOMETHING SCRAPED AGAINST MY EYEBALL.

Right, so it's annoying and all watery... And I now have gauze over the thing and it's taped up.

... I FEEL LIKE A PIRATE! ARRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Although, I must say that is probably the most surreal call-out I have ever had to work.

I cut my eyeball once. It wasn't fun. I didn't get to be all piratey though, they just put thsi yellow stuff in my eye that stung like hell.

sounds like iodine, maybe. or some weird anti-biotics. they did that to my kidlet's eye when he scraped it somehow.

I caught a bit of dust in my eye back in November at work and it scratched my cornea. Ever seen someone try to drive a forklift with one eye closed and the other all watery and nearly blind? I'm told it's unsettling.
