Okay.  So Cubs are mathematically eliminated and everything.

I must say.  Only one game of the season played out of contention is seriously way much better than the Cubs usually do.

And despite the fact that this last week rather sucked ass, it wasn't the rug-yanked-out-from-under-you heartbreak of...*shudder*... last year.

So hey.  Can't wait til next year!  (Oh, and go Red Sox.  I want at least one curse gone.)

Now I must settle down to watch Greg Maddux vs. the Braves.  Because that's gonna be fun.

Game's over. Cubs win.
