Well, first of all, I got my car back yesterday.
AND I found an actual bright side to the whole debacle. Which stemmed from ANOTHER disadvantage.
Okay, so basically yesterday, I borrowed the van, and dad got a ride to work...
And my car got fixed while I was in school, but he didn't have time to get it before I went to work, so he was gonna pick my car up and then drop it off at work and take the van home.
So he did so, and dropped my key off with me and everything, and then when I got off work, I went to my car, and then I was like.. DANGIT, I have to reset my radio station preset buttons again.
Anyway, I start flicking through to my stations to reset them.
Get to the
light rock station, which I have at number 4, cuz sometimes they play puppy ballads...
And I hear something which is decidedly not a puppy
ballad.
Namely... Bye Bye Bye.
I shriek happily, and dance along and am quite content.
So if my car hadn't died, I never woulda heard BBB on the radio yesterday.
Every cloud has a silver lining and stuff like that yes.
And then last night I had a rather bizarre dream.
I think I was out getting
St. Patrick's Day presents... No, I have no idea why... But then Santa showed up and was all vindictive and stuff because presents were supposed to be for CHRISTMAS dammit, and he was MAD.
And then all of a sudden it WAS Christmas.
And I recall wrapping stuff, including a present for Joey. I have no idea what it was. But he was THERE and he was all happy that he had a present.
And then mom got me some bizarre piece of pupswag. I think it was earphones or something, I don't recall.
And then I woke up.
It was really quite strange.
Now. The whole posting limits thing.
Frankly, I only partially understand the whole brouhaha.
Yeah, I can understand that people are upset about the thing, sure. Especially the free users. Cuz.. Yeah, three posts a day isn't very much. In some cases, it'll take a lot of post-consolidating and stuff.
But, paid users, I can honestly not
imagine it causing much of a difference.
But, y'know, whatever. Everyone's free to think and react as they'd like. Whatever happens happens.
