Am so ridiculously amused.

Decided to take a creative writing class this semester.

Because... Writing! (Oh, yes, I'm ever so erudite...)

There's, like, a writing requirement, blah blah blah....

Dude a couple rows down speaks up, and is like.... "I'm interested, I've already explored doing some writing in which I'm taking already written work and moving along with it in areas the original author..."

At this point I kinda zone out on the rest of what he's saying, cuz me and the girl behind me all amusedly squeak, "FANFIC!!"

And then we're all "Heee heee. Yay fanfic! Woohoo!"

And then I was thinking... Dude, really. If you write fanfic, just say so, and don't get all pretentious about it.

At any rate, I'm very much amused.
