Aug. 22nd, 2001 02:18 pmWell. My first day of classes is over. I'd say it went fairly well.
For Intro to Poli Sci, my prof, oddly enough, has the same policy as my American Government teacher last year. He allows you to debate test answers afterwards to pick up points. Two schools... 5 hours away... Freaky. ;)
As for International Relations, my prof's a communist whose e-mail username for his non-school account is comradetrotsky. I am intrigued. And I think the class is gonna be interesting, too, 8-or-so page paper notwithstanding.
Comparative Government and Politics sounds interesting enough. The ten page paper, I could do without, but... eh. :P
Well, those are my MWFs. TR remains to be seen. No more papers, pleaaase. :P

Aug. 22nd, 2001 08:31 pmOh, this is just a bundle of joy. The building which contains the comp lab that's reportedly open until 2 is.... locked. >.< No biggie, right? I'll just go to the library. It's open til midnight, I'll manage...
Well, I get to the library. All starts out okay. Until I discover I'm virtually unable to keep a telnet connection OPEN for, like, 5 minutes consecutively. One might understand that THAT might get a bit annoying. Oy.
Of course, I don't HAVE this problem at the Comp-U lab thingie in the UNION.... however THAT one closes at EIGHT. *yanks out some hair*
So I'm taking some time to regain my sanity. This week's comics are just getting pushed wholly to next week. If I still have all my hair then.
*goes to smack head on desk a few times.*
