Sep. 5th, 2001 01:43 pmAirlines are odd.
Presume. Someone (yeah, you can guess...) wants to get into New York City on ... oh... say... March 10. And return on March 15.
This someone looks up airfare on various sites.
Flying out of St. Louis, making a stop in between in... don't recall where.... 352 bucks roundtrip.
Flying out of St. Louis, making a nonstop flight to LaGuardia....1500-some bucks roundrip.
Flying out of PEORIA on a prop plane TO St. Louis, where one catches that EXACT nonstop flight... 290 bucks roundtrip.
Tell me how this makes sense?
Oh, and I encourage everyone to donate to the Send-Erin-to-NYC-On-Spring-Break Fund. Yeah. *smirk*
